Spring

May 20, 2019  •  3 Comments

Spring is here, gradually, and the black flies are out in clouds.

Beautiful painted trillium growing up from the brush left from logging operations.

New life springing up from last year's oak leaves.

The next few are from earlier in the spring.

The last snow on the lower mountains, on May 16.

Screw Auger Falls in Grafton Notch State Park.

A Balm of Gilead tree in Gilead, Maine. (black and white)

The Saco River with the Conway Intervales: the Moats on the left, White Horse Ledge in the middle, and Mount Washington under the clouds.

Since Adin asked, lately I have been carrying a Fuji X-E3 as my lightweight carry camera. These photos were all taken with that camera. The images were run through Lightroom 6 and I used the "Velvia" film simulation for most and "Acros" for the black and white.
