The spring issue of Lake Living Magazine should be on the stands about now. My contributions to this issue are photographs of a local potter's work. Amongst his projects are cooking vessels and these are the subjects of my photos. Some pieces are meant for stovetop and others for in the oven. Rusty Wiltjer crafts these pieces from his studio in Waterford, Maine.
We tried different setups of this for the cover:
With the lemons?
Or without? Do you see that watermelon radish? It was from Patch Farm and we sampled it afterwards. Brenna Mae of Patch Farm was on the cover of Lake Living for the summer 2018 issue. The tea pot (kettle?) was steaming away.
And we sampled the bread Rusty had made and had tea.
This two-piece vessel would be used to cook a whole chicken in the oven. Unfortunately we did not have a chicken so we were not able to sample that.
So check out the new issue of Lake Living Magazine in print or online.
