Spring walks and drives
Here we are looking over Cold River Valley to Baldface from the ledges on Pine Hill -- from Maine to New Hampshire. We didn't stay long; the mosquitoes and black flies chased us off.
Beaver Pond in Kinsman Notch, White Mountain National Forest, New Hampshire. This is a SOOC .jpg from the Fuji X-E3 using settings to simulate old Kodachrome II listed by Mr. Roesch on his Fuji blog.
The first image of Frenchman's Hole, near Sunday River, was taken with the same Kodachrome II simulation and the second was a RAW processed image in Lightroom 6 to Velvia film simulation.
This was taken downstream from Frenchman's Hole on the Bull Branch of Sunday River.
This Kodachrome II simulation has been interesting to experiment with; if you have a Fuji camera you may wish to check the link for the directions.

I know what you mean about getting chased off by black flies and mosquitoes. It's bad enough to want to stay indoors, even when the weather's nice. :(
