Lake Living Magazine gave me the opportunity of three photo assignments for the upcoming issue. One is of a local store recently opened in Bridgton and two sessions show the work of local furniture makers. If you visit the Lake Living Magazine site now, you can see what photo made it for the cover of the summer issue as I described in a previous blog post.
Here are photos from the sessions which probably will not make it in print.
So, first the store: J. Decor. The shop is in the historic old pharmacy building on Main Hill in Bridgton. The owners spent a lot of effort restoring and maintaing the old structure and furnishings. For the details, you will need to see the article.

When they were working with the old wallpaper around the room under the tin ceiling, they discovered originally a design had been painted on the wall.
Now some of the furniture.

The next image is from Somesville, Maine. My next post will cover a hiking trip and this image was made on a sidetrip when traveling to the mountain.
