Lake Living Magazine autumn 2018
Is it October already? I had the opportunity to take photographs for another Lake Living Magazine article. It is of a new camp on a small lake in Maine. The architect for this project is John Cole.

The camp has broad porches, screened and un-screened, for family gatherings.

Lines are simple at the owners' request, but get the whole story from the magazine article.

The family had two porches designed for this camp. The "front" one is open so it is not a good place to be during "bug season" and the "back" porch (actually on the pond side of the house) is screened-in as a safe haven from black flies and mosquitoes.
John Cole, the architect, is planning on using some of these photos for his website and Houzz account. Use the link above and you can see more of his work.

Love that porch!

Good job! On both accounts!
Glad you all liked the images. Unfortunately, someone else's photo was used for the cover. None of the photos from this session quite worked. A cover image has to stand out, speak to the theme of the issue and season, and fit the technical requirements. Perhaps the settings of this camp were too sparse to stand out for a cover.
Usually I don't list locations to keep the subjects' privacy, but it is in the article. The camp is in Waterford, which is near me.

I liked your photos! They were all really good, and I especially liked the one of the wood stove. Where is this camp in Maine?
