Ghost town: Elkhorn, Montana

This will be the first of at least three Montana ghost town posts. I hope you enjoy them as much as I enjoyed visiting them. First, Elkhorn, Montana which is in the mountains northeast of Butte.

It was great. This was one of the only days of my visit to Montana where the skies were not all smoky. And it was the only real hot day. The smoke did make for great sunsets.

Looks like a very cool place to visit. You picked the right time to go. With the high temps and fires right now, it would not have been as nice.
