This time it is on to West Quoddy Head for the first glimpse of sunrise in the nation (at this time of year), then on to Lubec, Cutler, Jonesport, and points in between.

Lubec is a small town just up the coast where you see the bridge which crosses to Campobello Island, New Brunswick.

You may just see a seal poking its head up out of the water below and left of the boat. That is Mulholland Point Light in Canada.

Heading down the coast, Cutler is the next town of size:

You have to head back inland before reaching Jonesport. These blueberry barrens are along the way.

Then to Jonesport.

The bridge to Beal's Island.

And now looking back from Beal's Island to Jonesport.

It continues like this with many villages to explore.

A final view of Mount Desert Island from the mainland. You can see sunlight glinting off cars traveling up Mount Cadillac.

Next, foliage, and have we been having some brilliant colors after a late start.
