The Sportshaus generously loaned the gear for this shoot. All photos were taken on Moose Pond in West Bridgton, Maine. The sunglasses were the same as used here. We finally got a break in the rainy weather and had a great time (except fighting mosquitoes at the end.) Thank-you Lily. And, congratulations Laurie on twenty years of Lake Living Magazine. Now go pick up your copy of the magazine (or visit the website) to see what photo made the cover. Late springHere are some scenes around Lovell.

The Point Judith Lighthouse later. Providence, RI - WaterFire
The first photo from my new Nikon D750. This was taken at Waterplace Basin in Providence, Rhode Island at the first full WaterFire lighting of the 2017 season, May 19. The unusually hot weather was just coming to a close so it was a very comfortable evening to be out walking along the river.
The gondola stand.
Probably performer Julia Jerome above.
Technical comments: it was dark yet D750 focused even with the assist lamp turned off, no tripod was used, ISO's were between 800 and 6400. |
