Hermit Falls is somewhere in the woods on the headwall in the background of this photo. This is the Basin Pond in the White Mountain National Forest. So, strap on your snowshoes and come along with us.

Unfortunately for photographs a tree has fallen across the falls. Eventually it will break up and we will have a clear view of the falls.

The falls is on a loop off the trail up the Basin Rim. We turned back down instead of continuing up to the rim.

In the distance is the dam made by the CCC's back in the 1930's. I hope you enjoyed your snowshoe trip.

Within the next week my old website is being replaced. Links to the main site and this blog will still work. New content will continue to be uploaded. Let me know what you think.
